HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) and UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) sheet and rod are one of the most commonly used plastic materials available for commercial, industrial and general markets today.
HDPE sheet and rod are available in various grades to suit a wide range of general and specialised applications. UHMWPE sheet has a minimum molecular weight of 7million; this has an extremely positive impact on material performance in abrasive environments.
These materials are relatively light, extremely tough, chemically resistant, offer excellent wear resistance; certain grades are UV resistant and offer a low coefficient of friction.
These attributes make these materials ideal for: – flow promotion liners, conveyor components subject to high wear, which also require low friction, mechanical wear strips, chain guides, material handling, as well as tanks & vessels and a wide range of other applications.
